So much enthousiasm, so much to share. Drinking some wines together in a beautiful castle and new website is born, made with some great EM-friends at the MNSHA. A blog for the Dutch Emergency Physicians to share ideas, articles, podcasts, guidelines, whatever helps us in the wonderfull world of Emergency Medicine.

Congrats to everybody involved. This initiative shows once again we are a mature specialty. All this blog needs is a little fertilizer and everybodies water and I project: this will grow to become a promise for the feature!

Masterclass was fabulous, learned a lot. Now it is up to us to keep the level up and post some real good and serious stuff! There is a lot of potential, hope most of us can share this on OUR website. Wouldn’t it be fantastic if we can say to all the ED doctors that we started a valuable international website about emergency medicinewith the best references of the world? (And even to be used internationally….)

Hope to see you on the site!

Saw the blog about your fresh start; good luck in making your ER community as close as the Australian one seems.
Will put you on the ER blog page of my website,
and watch you grow! One of your countrymen, Pieter Kubben MD has done great things in the Neurosurgery world, while in residency, he wrote an app for Neurosurgeons the world over, called “Neuromind”, as well as writing an Ortho app,, and being active in the Medical Infomatics world. See his blog at
